My mom was forced to visit us in the Hill Country! When my mom comes down we see very little of her because she has lots of people that want to visit with her. We have a ton of family in Texas and she is the only sibling out of six that left this great state:) My mom couldn’t get away from not seeing any of her siblings so our wonderful Aunt and Uncle joined us on our weekend!

 The photo below is from Albert, TX. It is a little town with a population of 3! They have a dance hall and bar that is so much fun. http://www.alberttexas.com/Justin my brother loves the hill country so much that he is building his house there! This is Justin and Lila on his property. Allison is his wonderful wife and she showed me the plans for the house and all I can say is DAMN, it wil be awesome.

Lila is saddling up, Allison and I enjoying the amazing weather at Luckenbach, TX, and Renee (sister in law) holding Lila.The day started with a visit to Blanco downtown to eat breakfast at the bowling club and a quick stop to the antique store. Then we traveled to Justin and Allison’s land. Our next stops were Luckenbach, TX, Toree di Pietra Winery, Albert, Tx and the last stop was Uptown restaurant in Blanco, TX. The day was perfect and when Sunday came around Matt and I didn’t want to leave!  Family is so important to us and spending the weekend surrounded by family is such a blessing. Justin and Allison’s next door neighbor. Also we ended up with 14 people at dinner, my mom is very popular when she arrives in Texas! The little boy is my nephew that I adore so much!!  The weekend was perfect and we enjoyed every bit of it!

Also my brother introduced me to Zing Zang bloody mary mix and I am hooked now!! Try is out you won’t be disappointed.

Anyways, I can’t wait to see what our next weekend activity will consist of:)
